Prayer Requested

We have been accepted by MAYO in MN for a consultation - couple months away. They are one of the few places in the country that may actually be able to help Bill regain SOME use of the right arm. We will take one step at a time. Our insurance has ok'd the consultation, I still have to see if they will authorize the testing required the first day. Please continue to add us to your prayer list for insurance coverage and for help in getting him movement and feeling back in his right arm. (from Cherri)

X-Rays showing some of the internal damage..

One X-ray shows the front to back view where you can see the spinal repair mechanism and the rib repair metal. The other is a side view showing just the spinal repair mechanism for special reference. This causes daily pain when Bill moves, sits, bends... pretty much all the time.

The accident scene ( some graphic pictures)

Various scratches which make no sense with the report
the bike is WAY north of the body
about 300 feet
this photo is facing north (in southbound lane) to show Bill's bike from his body (which is more south of this picture) so the officer is saying he "flew" on his own this far.. he had been heading north in the northbound lane..
Bill's bloody body was found under a guardrail

sorry for the graphic picture, but you need to know how badly they hurt Bill... he could have died! Look how much blood is under him!!! There is no excuse for this!
There is no way that he could have landed 300ft from his bike and in this position without some help...
Looking southbound from Bill's body
Preparing Bill for the air evac unit

looking south.. see the people WAY down the road?? that is where the first piece of the bike was...

the opposite side of the helmet shows you just how much he was bleeding
this was not bent earlier that morning.. plus notice the saddle bags, partial right and most of the left.. how the hell did the DPS say he did this on his own???
another officer removing personal items from the bike..you can see many damaged areas
this piece was bent in the accident.. we think it was grabbed by the phantom vehicle
Hours before this had no damage...

damages
you can plainly see where the person hit Bill's bike.. where is the confusion?? In a cop who does not want to do his job, that is where!
looking south.. see the people WAY down the road?? that is where the first piece of the bike was...
this was a brand new bike

When I, Brenda, first saw the bike, I questioned HOW THE HELL DOES BILL LOOK SO MESSED UP when his bike has so little damage?? HOW IS THE WINDSHIELD not even scratched, when his face is trashed?? How the hell is this???

I, Brenda, must tell you that this bloody helmet picture was not seen until the end of February 2012 and each time I see it, I get more pissed off! I am so angry that someone would hit a person and then leave them to die! We need to find this person in this Infiniti who is STILL driving that highway! Bill DESERVES the answers as to WHY! No matter what they are, he deserves to know them and to face his offender!
This is Bill in February 2012 at the same spot his boy was found on the morning of September 15, 2011. His motorcycle was behind where you see that red truck coming from.... how can this be a single person accident?? What is being hid and why? Why are the officer and his supervisor refusing to do any amending to the report? If even to show that it was not a fatality. There are many questions including delays, impede and cover up that our family just does not understand... they did not contact his wife at all, even though they had the working phone and it was on, they did no followup investigations and they continue refusing to help....

The Story that got me here...

This page is for Bill Lee, my big brother, being set up to tell his story, get the word out for fundraisers, make it easy to keep friends/family in the know and most importantly to tell the events of the incident so that the person responsible can be caught.
On the morning of September 15, 2011 Bill was on a leisurely motorcycle ride from his home in Wittman north towards Kingman. While on Hwy 93, between the turnoffs to Congress and Bagdad, a vehicle was seen heading north at speeds around 100-110MPH by drivers up to two miles behind Bill... no one saw Bill get hit. They saw this vehicle pass them and then they came upon my brothers bloody body under the guardrail on the southbound lane.. pieces of his bike were about 40ft south of him and his bike was some 300ft north.

The DPS officer made a horrible report. He did not investigate. He took and kept Bill's wallet and phone and never made an attempt to call family, sending him via helicopter to JCL as a John Doe. Thankfully a respiratory therapist he worked with at Del Webb hospital recognized him.
This is horrible, however, the worst part is the failure to investigate.  The report has false information and claims a fatality. It says the accident was a single vehicle. How can this be?? No one actually saw it, but broken pieces from his bike were found about 40ft south of his bloody body and the bike was about 300ft north of his body. Physics does not support the DPS report. The pictures do not support the officers report. However, the SGT stands behind his officer.
We need to get the word out. We need this story shared so that the person who drives like a maniac on a regular basis from Wickenburg to Kingman on Hwy 93. They are going 100-110MPH. They were driving an Infiniti about 1998 body style. Black in color with clear coat oxidation. 4-door sedan. Possibly a young short female. This description was given by to drivers who this car had flown by before they came upon Bill's body under the guardrail in a pool of blood. Both of the drivers went to police stations later and gave additional witness statements about this driver. They both spoke to the DPS officer on scene also.

No investigation was performed.
At approximately 10pm that same night, one of those drivers was heading home on the same highway and believes to have seen that vehicle pulled over by an officer. The road has been resurfaced so any road evidence is long gone. I am praying that the word of this accident becomes so familiar that one day the driver will be talking about it and someone who has seen this report will turn them into the Police or contact us so that we can pursue  justice for Bill. We have contacted attorneys only to be told that we do not have enough concrete information.
I honestly believe that the vehicle is being hid somewhere in or around Wickenburg, Arizona.. and I hope that every person who is heading around there, to Las Vegas, Kingman or the area will keep an eye out, get a plate number and contact our family! Thank you in advance for spreading the word and supporting Bill!
The fundraisers are to help Bill with medical Bills and such! He has to go to a specialist in Minnesota the end of April. He cannot go alone and his wife has no more time off available, so I will be escorting him.

Bill had just began working at Banner in May 2011, he does not qualify for any programs because he had not been there long enough. No short term or long term disability, no FMLA... nothing! He has been terminated from his job due to not being able to perform CPR.
His right arm does not work due to major brachial plexus damage. He endured much damage on his body. He has had surgeries on his back and his ribs, his face had to be sewn back, there is a long list as he spent September 15 to Mid November in the hospital. He will never have his quality of life back!
We are having many fundraisers in and around Surprise, Arizona which will be posted on this page and the facebook pages. Thank you for your assistance with getting the word out to everyone, prayers for recovery and financial support.
